The sustainable use of ocean resources for economic growth, improved livelihoods and jobs, and ocean ecosystem health, is the required path to boost long-term development of ocean-based economy without compromising future generations. Researchers, NGOs, policy makers, corporates, entrepreneurs and experts in Blue Economy will come together at ISOC 2019 to discuss ambitious outcomes related to Blue Economy in the context of Sustainable Development, supporting the implementation of SDG 14. Over three days of conference sessions, workshops, networking activities, trade fair and exhibitions, participants from all over the world will explore sustainable use of ocean resources for economic growth.
The conference will be held at Figueira da Foz in Portugal between 25 - 27 September.
