  Atlantic Action Plan

Join us for the 4th Atlantic Stakeholder Platform Conference (ASPC2017) to be held on 8 November 2017 in Glasgow, United Kingdom.

Free pre-registration is now open

The annual Atlantic Stakeholder Platform Conference is the central hub for stakeholders of the Atlantic Strategy to make valuable contacts and explore areas for cooperation, share information and good practices, promote and identify interesting project ideas, as well as funding opportunities and partnerships for their projects.

The thematic focus of the 4th Atlantic Stakeholder Platform Conference will be on topics related to Priority 4 of the Atlantic Action Plan “Create a socially inclusive and sustainable model of regional development”. Prominence to the international dimension of the Atlantic Strategy embodied in the 2013 Galway Statement on Atlantic Ocean Cooperation and its potential support to the Blue Economy remains a central aspect of the 4th edition of the Conference.

During the main plenary sessions of the Conference participants will hear from policy makers on the progress and achievements of the Atlantic Action Plan and will be informed on access to funding opportunities, while the workshops will focus on issues of social inclusivity and sustainable economic growth.

The Call for Workshops is now open and we invite the Atlantic stakeholder community to submit, before 02/06/2017, their proposals on trends and themes in the areas of:

  • Fostering better knowledge of social challenges in the Atlantic Area; and
  • Preserving and promoting the Atlantic’s cultural heritage through diversification.

For information on submitting your workshop proposal, as well as the submission guidelines, visit the Call for Workshops web page.

In the following weeks the Call for the 2nd Atlantic Project Awards will also be launched.  Stay tuned for more information on the preparation of ASPC2017.
