After Porto, Brest, Dublin and Glasgow, you are invited to attend the 2018 Atlantic Stakeholder Platform Conference in Vigo, Spain on 23-24 October, 2018.

This year, the 5th Atlantic Stakeholder Platform Conference will focus on topics that relate to youth employment in the maritime domain and will gather political leaders, maritime clusters, enterprises, academic institutions, funding donors and investors from all across the Atlantic seaboard.

ASPC2018 will include plenary sessions and stakeholder workshops where discussions will focus on how to pursue a maritime career in the 21st century, how to obtain the necessary skills and how to embrace innovation without risking jobs; a dedicated half-day business-to-business networking session, under the auspices of the Enterprise Europe Network, aiming to help maritime business operators and service suppliers innovate and grow internationally; and finally the 3rd Atlantic Project Award Ceremony.

The Call for the 2018 Atlantic Project Awards is now open.

The Atlantic Project Awards are designed to honour outstanding success stories, achieved by projects in the geographical area covered by the Atlantic Strategy and that are related to the implementation of the Atlantic Action Plan. Awards will be given five projects which are in line with the priorities of the Plan and with the international cooperation dimension of the Atlantic area.

Travel expenses and accommodation for attending the Atlantic Awards ceremony (Vigo, Spain 23-24 October 2018) will be fully covered for the winner of each of the five categories by the Support Team for the Atlantic Action Plan.



 

The European Maritime Day (EMD) is the annual meeting point for Europe’s maritime community to network, discuss and forge joint action. This year Burgas, Bulgaria will host the 2018 edition on 31 May and 1 June. You will find practical information on themes, stakeholders' workshops, and deadlines on the page "Get involved". The Blue Invest 2018 (#BLUEINVEST 2018) is a match-making event that brings together innovators and the financial community to boost the economic potential of the ocean while protecting its marine resources. This year the Brussels, Belgium will host the 2018 edition on 17 May. You will find practical information on the participants, sessions, deadlines on the official event page.
