Young ambassadors in Celtic Sea

A three-fold project:
  • first step : young ambassadors have been collecting resources (trading, cultural, environmental etc...) in their home areas
  • second step : they are going to sail across the channel on a 1949 60-foot dundee tuna boat to meet people in small seaside towns in Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Cornwall. Every stop will be an opportunity to celebrate and then to share our resources (an open market to exchange ideas, products and skills...)
  • third step : back home, they will tell about what they've learned to their partners (producers, associations, farmers, local representatives...) The overall goal is to create a long-term exchange between Celtic countries by using sailing boats. The expedition on a traditionnal sailing boat is a symbol, a way to get people interested in our project.
