Summary:
Teams of engineers and scientists have been seeing whether data collected in North Sea and Mediterranean are fit for purpose. The activities are at the halfway phase. The teams will report progress in a meeting in Wallingford, UK on 2-4 September. Teams beginning work on similar challenges in the Atlantic, Arctic, Baltic and Black Sea will learn from this experience and present their ideas for tackling the issue.
