  • Integrated coastal zone management: EU project to present new policy tools during final conference

    The MARE NOSTRUM project, funded by the EU within the framework of the CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin programme, will hold its closing conference in Valencia, Spain, on 24-26 November. On this occasion, policy tools developed by the project for improved coastline regulations and management will be presented to an international audience of decision makers, researchers and representatives of civil society.     The Mares Conference is an initiative from the MARES Joint Doctoral Programme and EuroMarine Network , and is expected to attract around 200 attendees from across the world. It presents a unique opportunity to bring together marine researchers, scientists, educators and policymakers to address the key issues regarding marine ecosystems health and conservation.
