Co-creating strong uptake of REMEDIES for the future of our oceans through deploying plastic litter valorisation and prevention pathways
The OC2 will provide funding for proposed actions over an 8-month period, starting in 2024 and extending to spring 2025 (indicative period: September 11, 2024, to May 10, 2025). During this timeframe, successful applicants are expected to hold regular monthly meetings with assigned REMEDIES mentor(s) to provide updates on progress and receive support and guidance on implementation as needed. It's advisable to establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Milestones with clear, quantifiable, and verifiable characteristics to guide these meetings, enabling a better understanding of progress and facilitating the identification of challenges and necessary actions for mitigation.
Additionally, a representative from each awarded applicant is required to attend the OC2 Kickoff Meeting and the closing event at the end of the 8-month implementation period. These gatherings provide opportunities for collaboration, sharing insights, and celebrating achievements.
